A mother grain. We are people in love with this delicious, natural, and healthy food. From our beginning in 2012 until now, eleven years later.

Customer service is excellent! He made sure the food was hot, if there was anything we needed. The steak jibarito was delish!!! The plantain was a tad bit sweeter than the usual jibarito but nonetheless less, delish. My mom ordered the dinner plate and said her fav was the poblano!!! She also loved the pastor! Wasn't a huge fan of the cactus. Overall, great place. Will definitely be back to support a local business!!!

Victoria F.Elite 2023 Vernon Hills, IL 94060 8/19/2023 I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which is tucked away in a strip mall in Gurnee. Although I'm not vegan, I was impressed by their extensive vegan offerings. I had the vegan jibarito, and it was delicious! Service was quick and friendly, and they were able to split the check by item. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!

I couldn't eat another bite! We started with fresh warm chips and guacamole. The chips were divine and the guacamole was fresh and delightful. We split the breakfast burrito and chilaquiles. The burrito's elements were very flavorful and made every bite one to savor. The chilaquiles had a great mix of textures and the green sauce offered a nice bit of heat. I also want to point out the owner was very kind and showed a real passion for his food. I would love to come back ASAP.

07/23/23 Grayslake, IL. Good food, not great. The burrito was so heavy on rice I couldn't tell if there was actually chorizo in it. The steak taco was also good but was just ok.

Al S. Lake Villa, IL 01 8/7/2023 Momcorn catered for a wedding shower last weekend. Ordered the vegan versions of burritos, fajitas, tamales, flautas, and empanadas, along with variety of Mexican sides. Everyone at the shower loved the food! The delivery and setup was right on time. Momcorn has delicious entrees for both vegans and meat eaters and are highly recommended!

Karin P, Gurnee. I am so lucky because I live like a 5 min walking distance from this place!! Their food has been so good to me since I moved here. I usually get the tacos or the jumbo quesadilla ( and yes they mean jumbo! ) both delicious! Always ALWAYS get the salsa it makes me happy! Also their candied tamales usually go for the strawberry ones WHICH! This is the only place I can find them! So stinking good! It's dangerous living so close to this place. The couple that work here are also very sweet people.

Ama S. Waukegan.I came to this restaurant for curbside pick-up. I looked at the delicious foods in the menu for a couple of weeks and finally decided to come in. The vegan breakfast burrito is fantastic. It tasted just as good or better than a meat breakfast sandwich. The burrito had just the right amount of spices with cilantro, bell peppers, and finely chopped onions. The customers have a choice to add fresh sliced avocados, extra vegan sour cream, guacamole and other items. The meal was hearty and filling. The Mexican coffee was just as delicious, with a rich flavor. I added some of my vegan creamer to it at home to add to the delicious flavor. I am eager to go back to try some of the other tasty items on the menu, such as the fried plantain sandwich and fish empanada.
